I'd usually wear something sequin-y or satiny for New Year's Eve, but this year I've decided to change it up with this leopard print dress from london-based label, Kitri. I've been coveting this dress for a long time and when it went on sale I knew I had to get it. Apart from the flattering wrap silhouette, what drew me to this dress was the 80s-inspired feather trim sleeves. It's definitely a little out there, but I love it! R thought it resembled a rather luxurious night gown, but that's part of the appeal for me. It sits perfectly against the bust without gaping, which is a gripe I have with most wrap dresses and it falls to a midi length - honestly I can sing praises about this frock all day long. I've put together a little NYE edit, in case you're looking for a little inspo.
Also, instead of giving actual holiday cards, I decided to opt for a more sustainable option and send online cards to friends and family this year. I used Paperless Post to send beautifully designed and personalised cards. They have a great selection of designs, including ones with festive colours and more minimalistic options. I chose a classic Rifle Paper Co. card and personalised everything from the font to the envelope liner and added cute personalised messages. Apart from being eco-friendly, I love the timelessness of it. It's a fairly simple process, once you sign up, you can buy coins (digital currency) and go about designing your stationery.
